On November 7th, the network Les Comptoirs de la Bio inaugurated its first store overseas on Reunion Island. With its 300 m², this point of sale is located in the town of Tampon, the fourth largest on the island. "This opening overseas is a further step in the development of the group Les Comptoirs de la Bio outside of France."
Created in 2012 by Philippe Bramedie, Les Comptoirs de la Bio is a chain of independent organic stores, which already has one hundred and fifty stores in mainland France. The brand has a specific distribution platform and relies on 144 partner suppliers. The network achieved a turnover of 330 million euros [372 million USD] in 2017.
