The former Balmoral Fruit Market on Belfast's Boucher Road has gone on sale for £8.5 million. The prime development land has a short-term annual income of £210,000 (mainly from car parking) as well as several accesses from Balmoral Road.
The site forms part of the old Balmoral Fruit Market, and all the buildings have now been cleared. Agents in charge of the sale -McKibben Commercial Property Consultants and Lambert Smith Hampton- say the site is ideally suited for hotel, car showroom, retail warehousing, trade counter and/or leisure usage.
According to irishnews.com¸ the site is adjacent to a number of prominent retail schemes including Boucher Retail Park, Boucher Plaza, Boucher Square/Crescent and Shane Retail Park.
