In 2017, it officially registered the “Mizong” trademark, and sold it on the national market in an independent category, becoming a true domestic kiwi brand.
"Mizong" has two meanings. On the one hand, it shows that China is the birthplace of kiwifruit. On the other hand, it also expresses the determination of Baiguoyuan and Youguolian to return the fruit to China through a technological transformation. Kiwifruit originated in China, and there were written records about Shaanxi kiwifruit more than 1,000 years ago. However, due to the planting scale and backward production technology, the domestic kiwifruit market has been occupied by imported kiwifruit brands for a long time, and there is basically no competitive domestic product on the local market.
It is understood that Youguolian plans to cultivate 20 category brands and lay out 5 million mu of plantations by 2020. The kiwifruit product launched this time is typical of its high-quality fruit brand. This year, “Mizong” not only launched green kiwi fruit, but also tried to launch the “Golden” series of golden fruit varieties in December, and it was launched through the introduction of diversified varieties to meet the specific needs of domestic consumers. However, "Mizong" kiwifruit has been listed in the store for two weeks and, due to the hot sales, it is expected to be sold out by the end of October.
