Dutch ambassador opens Algerian potato storage facility

The Dutch company, Mooij Agro, recently delivered a storage box in Algeria. This took place at Agrico AlgĂ©rie (previously known as SIG Agro), a subsidiary of Dutch company, Agrico. This storage facility is made up of four cells. Two of these are fully fitted for the storage of potatoes. The installation has been specially adapted to the hot climate of the Oran region in Algeria.

The facility was opened last week by Mr. Salah El Affani, Wali (Governor) of the Wilaya province. He was present with the Dutch Ambassador to Algeria, Mr. Robert van Embden. The opening attracted a lot of visitors and was a great success. The initial storage results are excellent. For Mooij Agro, this is the first of many storage warehouses to be set up in Algeria.
