Whole Leaf is ready to grow with a new President

The Star Group’s CEO, David Karwacki, is ready to pass the baton of start-up company Whole Leaf to a new President. Whole Leaf opened its state of the art greenhouse in June 2017 and annually produces 11 million heads of pesticide free, living lettuce. With the addition of phase two in January, Whole Leaf will become the biggest greenhouse producer of living lettuce in North America.

Whole Leaf is part of The Star Group; an organization comprised of boutique companies that specialize in different sectors of the fresh produce industry. "I am looking for a leader for Whole Leaf that is passionate and can guide our Inspired Greens brand into the future. We have created something that is unique to our industry and it needs the commitment of a President who wants to be an innovative industry leader in whole head, clamshells and finished salads," said Karwacki, President of Whole Leaf.

Whole Leaf is sold under the Inspired Greens brand. "Whole Leaf is changing the world of lettuce. It tastes great and we haven’t sprayed since the opening of the greenhouse. Consumers are loving the idea of a super clean, pesticide free option for their salads," said David Karwacki.
