Starting November, first products with Bioland label will be on the shelves

Cooparation between Lidl and Organic Association, Bioland

Buying organic products from a discounter is not for everyone. Loyal buyers of organic foodstuffs in particular are still avoiding the branches of the big discounters. Neckarsulm-based retailer Lidl wants to change that now and has started cooperating with Germany's largest organic association, Bioland. Starting this November, the first products with the Bioland mark, like apples and herbs, will be found in each of the 3,200 German stores.

Own labels
"As of January 2019, almost all dairy products from our own Bioorganic brand will be changed over," said Jan Bock, Purchasing Manager of Lidl Germany, on Thursday. More products will follow, and more announcements will be made accordingly.
