Plastica Sud produces and commercializes a wide range of products for the food sector, and especially plastic crates and containers and pallets for the industrial sector.

The aim has always been to develop versatile efficient products that can guarantee maximum savings in line with the company mission, which is to: "Supply constantly improved products, foreseeing and meeting new client needs focusing on product innovation and design and improving company processes to be increasingly competitive on the market."
Plastica Sud was among the first companies in Europe to produce collapsible crates (Freebox) and among the first in Italy to employ the IML technology (Labelbox).
At the 2018 edition of Fruit Attraction in Madrid, Plastica Sud displayed two new patented productions: the Milleusi+ (60x40h24) stackable crate and the collapsible-wall Twist Box (60x40) with a height of both 19 and 23 cm.
Both versions have unique advantages and can be stacked: between 1 and 7 for Milleusi and 1 and 8 for Twist Box.
These solutions have a filling capacity that is 10% higher than the competition, so more money can be saved along the entire logistic chain. From storage to transport, 350 Milleusi+ crates and 400 Twist Box crates can transported on an ISO pallet (1200x1000 mm).
The two crates displayed by Plastic Sud in Hall 3 (3E14) are also safe and functional.
Twist box is smooth, clean and hygienic thanks to the opening and closing system that makes it versatile and easy to handle. The innovative appealing look means it can be used also in stores.
Both are sturdy and ensure the maximum protection and conservation of the product also thanks to a reinforced bottom. Ventilation channels guarantee excellent temperature and suitable shelf-life so that the produce does not perish.
But there's more: Plastica Sud has solved the foreign body problems using polypropylene that doesn't break as well as ferrite, so crates can be detected with a metal detector ensuring the maximum safety.
In addition, IML/RFID labels can be placed on Twist Boxes. Both are available in a range of colors and can be customized, making them truly unique.
