At present, the wholesale price of local white honey pomelos in Xiamen is about 1.8 yuan per jin, the retail price of the market is 3 yuan to 5 yuan per jin; the wholesale price of red honey pomelos is about 2.8 yuan per jin, and the retail price of the market is 4 to 6 yuan per jin. The price of pomelo in the Xiamen market this year is nearly 20% cheaper than that of the same period of last year. There will be room for a further decline in the price of the pomelo in the middle and late stages.
Although the local pomelo is not expensive this year, the high-priced, small and beautiful Wendan pomelo has sold well recently. In the past, Wendan pomelos were sold individually in fruit stores but most were sold in boxes this year.
