"We celebrated our annual Dori day last week in one of the kiwifruit production areas in the Latina region. The main goal of this day was to promote Dori golden kiwifruit varieties. More than 300 people from the kiwifruit industry from all over the world came to participate in this promotional activity, including Europe, Australia, and South Africa. "Dori golden kiwifruit is a kiwifruit variety researched and developed in Italy during the last ten years. It is slightly oval, sweet, and juicy. The color of the fruit flesh is bright yellow. The taste is excellent, and the sugar content is 16-18° on average but can exceed 20°. Dori golden kiwifruit also lasts longer than most other kiwifruit, which makes it suitable for the Chinese market. On the basis of these aspects, we have high hopes for Dori golden kiwifruit in the Chinese market and in the Asian market in general."

"The overall surface area devoted to Dori golden kiwifruit plantation worldwide reached 500 hectares and is estimated to reach 2000 hectares in 2020. The harvest period of the current production season is already underway, and supply is expected to last from early September until early November."
