Lidl sells 5kg "faulty" fruit and vegetables for 1.67 euros

"Too Good to Go"-boxes

It's no secret that crooked cucumbers, too-small peppers and apples with spots are sorted out before they end up on the supermarket shelves. But why remove them completely from the range, if there are enough people who do not bother about fruit and vegetables that are "faulty"?

Food discount store Lidl now wants to take action against this rampant food waste as part of the "To Good to Go" campaign and offers crooked cucumbers and the like at a lower price. In the UK, the campaign is already a great success.
