French organic bananas from UGPBAN are now available in Parisian stores. The banana trees are grown in Martinique by Michel Blondel La Rougerie, who’s the largest producer of organic bananas on the island nowadays.
According to Philippe Ruelle, CEO of UGPBAN, it is the only French organic banana conform to the European market. "It's a constant challenge to grow organic bananas for our brand la Banane de Guadeloupe & Martinique."
The bananas are certified Ecocert, and are available in a selection of Parisian Naturalia stores. Naturalia is the first brand to offer the French organic banana.
