New label underlines unique qualities Dutch onions
First Dutch onions at Asia Fruit Logistica

At the opening day of the Fruit Logistica Asia, Chief executive officer of FruitVegetable Agency Holland Mr. Jack Stroeken offered together with the Dutch Honorair Consul in Hong Kong Mr Robbert Schuddeboom  the Head of the Fruit Logistica Asia Mr. Gérald Lamusse the first Dutch onions of the autumn harvest. The Dutch onions have seven unique advantages over its international alternatives which makes it the No1. export vegetable of the Netherlands and above all international market leader. Underlining these unique qualities a new label will be introduced at the trade show.

The onion is the tastemaker of the Dutch agricultural sector. As one of the biggest onion producers in Europe some 1 million tonnes of onions are exported every year worldwide. This makes the Dutch onion the international market leader. Important reasons for this success are the fertile, stone free and lime-rich Dutch soil and favourable climate, as well as the excellent logistic and transport systems. The growers, seed producers, traders and industrial entrepreneurs have raised the industry to an unparalleled professional level.

Underlining the seven unique qualities of the Dutch Agriculture best seller, the new label hollandproduce.NL was introduced.
