ENG+PACK, Ingeneria de Empaque, S.A., supports the industrial agricultural sector in Central American area

We are an SME (small and medium enterprise) dedicated in the representation of foreign entities, manufacturers of equipment, as well as systems and equipment oriented at industrial packing.

In the agricultural industrial sector we do business with exporters/producers of Banana, Pineapple, Melon, in the Central American area. We provide them with equipment oriented to industrial packing.

We are currently introducing idea of Quality Control of tropical fruit for export. By the calibration with NIR technology (nondestructive), this trend will guide the consumer markets of Europe and the U.S.
"The agro-industrial issue of Central America is currently very important, because our countries (Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama) are close to signing a trade agreement with the European Union. Costa Rica is the most favoured, since the big multinationals are based in said country: DOLE, Del Monte, Chiquita, as well as important European brokers ... and the big independent producers of bananas, pineapple, and melon, are also there “declares Mr. Mario Abarca representative of ENG+PACK, ingenieria de Empaque, S.A.

The NIR CASE is ideal for assessment of internal fruit quality parameters in packhouses, depos and on supermarket platforms. It can be used:

to inspect the fruit collect during the harvest;
to determine the shelf life of the fruit;
to evaluate conformity with specifications and standards.
User-friendly and portable, it is the perfect tool for fast non-destructive fruit quality control.
SACMI, with the NIR CASE and the sorting machines F5 & S5, offers a fully integrated system designed to guarantee the quality in the fruit supply chain.
