Special about exotic fruits in FreshPlaza

In our traditional series of specials, the next two weeks we will start with a special about exotic fruits. The first question that comes to one mind is what is actually an exotic fruit. Regularly are those fruits that are found very seldom in the supermarket and of course with higher prices. In the Northern hesmisphere: pineapples, mangos and kiwis are considered as exotic fruits, however they are from time to time available year round just like in the local markets of tropical countries where these "exotics" are part of the daily diet.

Following with the trade flow, we will take the definition of the northern hemisphere, including of course those fruits considered as exotics even in tropical countries such as: dragon fruit, rambutan, mangostan, physallis etc.

As usual, we invite you to participate actively with articles about your firms/products, asking for interviews or simply giving us your opinions or/and comments. Do not hesitate to contact us to the email address info@freshplaza.com
