Table grapes
Supply was continuous overall, and sales accelerated locally. The organoleptic properties were often very good. However, some varieties presented non-uniform coloration, whereupon the price ranges widened.
Strawberries
The end of this year's season is approaching: Demand was limited, parallel to overall availability. This demand could usually be covered without effort. Nevertheless, prices tended to go up and down.
Plums
In the meantime, certain late varieties have been marketed. A not particularly strong demand was satisfied without problems. Prices dropped frequently.
Lemons
South African imports dominated those of countries like Argentina. The presence of Spanish and Uruguayan lots had been somewhat limited. Demand was quite satisfactory and this could be met without effort.
Bananas
Supply corresponded well with the demand. This remained mostly at last week's level, but it had grown in some places. The trade was steady.
Cauliflower
German products dominated and only occasionally were there Belgian and Polish products to supplement supply. Marketing varied strongly.
Lettuce
Cucumbers
Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium prevailed here. The high prices of the last few weeks remained in place or even increased, making business difficult.
Tomatoes
Dutch products dominated the market. Supply was limited and, in some places, barely enough to meet demand. Demand was sometimes very pronounced.
