Worse for the fruit market

China: Cardboard prices will rise sharply in August

Since November last year, the price of raw paper has risen from 3,000 yuan per ton to more than 6,000 yuan per ton, and the price has doubled. The madness of rising paper prices has brought great pressure on related industries. Fruit wholesalers need to be shrewd with prices to make a profit. Faced with the pressure brought about by the price increase, the bosses of various industries can only pass the costs on to the consumers.

From August 12th to August 18th, the market fluctuated for the corrugated packaging industry. With the waste paper prices, paper prices in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hubei, Jiangxi, Hebei and other places continued to rise, the paperboard market saw a regional price increase. In the waste paper market, prices continued to rise slightly this week. Due to the increase in orders from downstream markets, the finished paper storage paper were gradually consumed. It is expected that the country's waste price growth will remain unchanged in the short term, and more stable and moderately strong operations will be maintained.

According to industry insiders, domestic orders for express delivery reached nearly 100 million, and multiple factors have led to a surge in demand for cartons in the market. It is feared that it will be hard to reduce prices in the short term. This year, the fruit market environment is not ideal, and the cost pressure caused by rising carton prices is bound to be passed on to consumers.
