Californian shipper shares availability of imported citrus varieties

Bee Sweet's import season is in full swing, and its sales team is reporting ample supply of several different citrus varieties.

"With several weeks still left in our import program, we are seeing great demand for all varieties,” said Bee Sweet Citrus Sales Representative Jason Sadoian. “This includes Navel oranges, Murcott mandarins, lemons and our Chilean Cara Cara navels that just arrived."

A grower, packer and shipper of citrus, Bee Sweet Citrus is the largest importer of citrus on the West Coast. Focused on citrus year-round, Bee Sweet said it can regrade and repack all imported product to ensure that consumers receive premium fruit, regardless of the season.

Bee Sweet said Chilean navels and Murcott mandarins are an ideal snack for work and the classroom.

“The eating quality of our imported product has been great, and we're excited to head down the final stretch of another successful season," continued Sadoian. "Our Chilean partners have been incredibly helpful in providing the quality and volume we need to support our programs, and we're grateful for their partnership.”
