San Miguel named best supplier of 2017

San Miguel, a leading company in the production and export of citrus fruits from the southern hemisphere, was rated Best Supplier of 2017 at the 7th Supplier Summit by one of the world's largest private companies in the fragrance and flavours industry: Firmenich. The company is part of the "Vendor Relationship Manager" group of Firmenich, made up of the firm's strategic suppliers.

San Miguel obtained the best score after being evaluated in areas such as Compliance, Support, Delivery and Finance. It achieved the best scores in in Sustainability and Innovation, with a total of 3.90 and 4.40, proving once again that the path to sustainability and the efforts to achieve it are important and recognised by the industry.

Pablo Britti, Oils, Scents and Peel Commercial Manager at San Miguel, was the person responsible for receiving the award on behalf of everyone making up the great San Miguel family. It was presented to him by Bhavesh Shah and Gilbert Ghostine, CPO and CEO of Firmenich.

This award is undoubtedly a recognition of that commitment, which reaffirms our path and fills us with pride," said Britti.

With the juices, pulps, peel and oils that it processes, San Miguel forms part of the value chain of thousands of mass consumption products globally. The derivatives of its citrus are present in a variety of products, such as beverages, perfumes and food.
