The Ganlu pear has an abundant production, high resistance to disease, and a high endurance for storage. The largest Ganlu pear weighs 1.4 kg. The pear was introduced in Lianzhou City in 2016 and entered the market in large volumes this year. The experimental plantation has been pronounced a success. The sales of Shuichang pears from Lianzhou are approaching the end of their season, and the "Ganlu pears" only entered the market in the first week of August. They effectively extend the Lianzhou pear retail season and form a great addition to the Lianzhou pear industry.
