Canada's largest T&T Supermarket now in Richmond
The largest T&T Supermarket in Canada has opened in Richmond’s Lansdowne Centre. On Thursday, August 16th, the massive 70,000 square foot market officially opened for shopping. The space was formerly owned by Target, which is roughly two times the size of a regular store. In addition to an in-house bakery, the stores typically have a deli, as well as a sushi and Chinese barbecue department. There are two other stores in the area, including the Yaohan Centre and one at Hollybridge Way. With rapid expansion, T&T is now the largest Asian supermarket chain in Canada.

A group of 90 grocery home delivery drivers working for Safeway.com in the Seattle area have ratified a contract with the Teamsters. Ecommerce in Sweden was worth €14.5bln in 2017
Ecommerce in Sweden has increased just slightly during last year and was worth 14.5bln euros at the end of 2017. After an increase of 4.1%, the B2C ecommerce turnover of Sweden grew only 400,000 euros compared to the situation in 2016. This can be concluded from the latest report on Swedish ecommerce by the Ecommerce Foundation. The 14.5bln euros turnover of last year is still more than what other sources calculated. For example, online payments provider Dibs said ecommerce in Sweden was worth 11.5bln euros in 2017, while PostNord Sverige talks about 6.7bln euros. These big differences mostly occur because of very different methods of measuring ecommerce revenue: some parties ignore entire industries such as travel or gambling.
