The West Mediterranean region, which covers Antalya, Isparta and Burdur has surpassed the 1 billon USD mark for the first 7 months of exports in 2018. This figure indicates a 10.3 % increase compared to the first 7 months of the previous year. The most popular export destination for the products has been China so far.

The most important group among these export products were fresh fruits and vegetables, which made up nearly 300 million USD of the exports, showing a 16% increase compared to the previous year. These export figures are expected to increase even more with the start of greenhouse vegetable production season.
