New hires for Veg Fresh Farms
The Veg Fresh Farms family has grown this summer. The company, entering their 30th year of business in 2019, has recently hired Tyler Lance and David Figueroa for distinct roles on the National Food Service sales team.
Both new hires bring a deep level of sales expertise and customer service to Veg Fresh. Tyler Lance joins the team in a Sales Management position, where he will continue to develop Veg Fresh’s roster of food service customers. A previous board member on PMA Food Service Board of Directors and former co-chairman of FPFC SoCal Food Service Committee, David Figueroa brings his decades-long industry knowledge to a Business Development role at Veg-Fresh. This is a new position that will be central to the growth of this team and to the company as a whole in coming years.

“Joe Marchese has built the National Food Service Sales division at Veg Fresh Farms from the ground up, and we couldn’t be more proud of what he has accomplished since starting this segment of our business in 1994,” says Mark Widder, general partner of Veg Fresh Farms. “This team has grown in recent years to now include my son Clay Widder and Dan Floyd. Having Tyler and David to round out this group is a tremendous asset to our business.”
The Veg Fresh Food Service division now services 50 distribution centers in 36 states for over a dozen national quick-service concepts across the US. Veg Fresh said that by sourcing in the US and Mexico, it allows the company to offer year-round supply to their Food Service customers.
