Bogota, Colombia. May of 2018. With the objective of promoting innovations for a new agriculture and integrating the entire Colombian agribusiness value chain, Expo Agrofuturo 2018 arrives in Bogotá, the leading business and knowledge platform for the agro sector in Colombia and Latin America.
Marketers, distributors, investors, neo producers, industrialists and suppliers of machinery and technology, will meet for three days to highlight, expose and show the great diversity of supplies and services offered by the agro industry in Colombia.

Expo Agrofuturo 2018, organized by Grupo NovoAgro and the International Center for Business and Exhibitions of Bogotá (Corferias), seeks to promote profitability for entrepreneurs in the sector, promoting and making visible the latest trends, inputs and technological advances in favor of an agro more towards business and less traditional.
Within the framework of the fair and as parallel activities, the IX International Livestock Forum will be held to present the main advances in the sector, both in production and marketing; making known to the attendees, some of the companies that are working globally and nationally to have more innovative farms capable of adapting to the changes demanded by the market. During the X International Agricultural Congress, innovation will be discussed in the processes of production, harvesting, transformation, logistics and marketing of agricultural products.

Outlook of the agro industry in Colombia
The agro industrial sector is a great player in the national economy, generating about 6.2% of GDP. Regarding exports, there has been a growth of 32.2% in the last five years.
