Heavy rainfall in many provinces in China

According to Xinhuanet's report on Sunday, more heavy rainfall will hit Sichuan, Gansu, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Guangdong and Hainan provinces in the event of continuous rainfall this week. Xinhuanet said that in Chongqing, nearly 100,000 residents were temporarily evacuated due to a flood peak in the city. In addition, according to the China Southern Morning Post, heavy rains in northern China this week caused many problems in transportation and roads.

In response to the impact of this climatic situation on crops, Freshplaza.cn recently interviewed some farmers in Chongqing. "The heavy rainfall mainly affects the residents living in the city center and does not really affect our crops. In addition, the rainfall in Chengdu this week is even greater in Chongqing. The weather is constantly changing and once the rainfall stops, it will get very hot. Now, everything is fine. But if the hot and stuffy weather continues like this, we will start to irrigate our land to prevent it from being affected." Another farmer from Chongqing said:"The rainfall this week is too much. Rainfall has not affected our farmland, although we are now paying special attention to the heat."

From this point of view, heavy rainfall has not brought too many problems to farmers in Chongqing, although urban residents have to face some problems. Extreme weather is likely to continue this week, as more heat and rain is expected according to forecasts.
