"It shows us what has been happening and where we are going as a nation, in the six years of this administration," he said.
Hinojosa highlighted that in 2017 the country's production reached 286 million tons, that is, 30.7 million tons more than in 2012.
Crispim Moreira, a representative of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), acknowledged that the more than 16 percent growth of the primary sector in the Gross Domestic Product in the last six years shows its dynamism and that the Mexican countryside is full of opportunities.
