Washington state apples face difficulties due to the trade war


According to reports, the state's exports to China accounted for about 2.3% of the total US apple exports. Mark Powers of the Northwest Horticultural Council recently said that he believes that as import tariffs increase, many US exporters have seen the Chinese market as "closed."
