Cambodian bananas get access to China

On August 2, witnessed by Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister He Nanhong, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Xiong Bo signed the Protocol on Plant Quarantine Requirements for Banana Exports from Cambodia in Phnom Penh.

The signing of the protocol means that Cambodian bananas have completed quarantine access to China and become the first fruit variety to be exported to China from Cambodia. This has positive significance for enriching the trade of agricultural products between China and Cambodia and consolidating the traditional friendship between the two nations.
