Syngenta lettuce varieties, resistant to the new Bremia races BI: 34-35

The International Bremia Evaluation Board (IBEB) has identified and nominated two more Bremia races: Bl: 34-35. Most Syngenta lettuce varieties have resistances against these new physios.

The rapid evolution of new varieties is a challenge for growers - a holistic approach becomes all the more important. To make the cultivation of lettuce as safe as possible, the breeder recommends the combination of resistant varieties with an innovative crop protection program.

"We all need to work together to reduce the spread of resistance, to take all preventive measures and to combine them wisely to achieve the highest level of healthy plants and yields", the company says in a news release.
