“Dalian is famous for its Bagged Golden apples and Jonagold apples which are popular in Russia, Jiguan apples which are sold well in Bangladesh and Sri lanka, Jinhong apples which are shipped to southeast Asia and received positive feedback. Among all varieties, Fuji Apples which were shipped to Southeast Asia, Russia, Cananda ,UAE and US is the most popular one. Except apples, Dalian also produces the Red Globe Grapes which mainly go to Thailand and Southeast Asia. “However, in recently years, the export has become a little hard. Several factors resulted in such a situation. Firstly, the competition has been becoming more fierce, both on domestic and overseas market. Secondly, the destination countries have charged high tax on the products. Thirdly, for Indonesia and India, which are two of the main export destinations of China, some regulations in terms of international trades were changed which are not favorable for Chinese exporters."

“With two factories, one is for the production of fresh fruit and the other one is for the production of canned food, we have been exporting the apples since the 80s, to my knowledge, Dalian apples' output has increased this year, the larger volume might bring the market price down at a later stage. However, in my opinion, such a situation could change later. Successful business lies in the quality, to win the market, the focus for us is selecting and packing the goods carefully to ensure good quality. ”
