The peak season of lychees on the market already passed last week and the supply volume is shrinking. The market price is gradually coming up again, and in some markets, the price has increased significantly. At the same time, the Chinese longan supply entered the market with large volumes. The longan market smoothly takes over from the lychee market and prices are ideal.
The lychees from Guangdong and Guangxi are in the final stages of production, while lychees from Fujian are in peak season. Lychees from Sichuan are gradually entering the market and their supply is expected to last until September. The main lychee varieties currently on the market are Flavor of Guilin, Black Leaf, and Heli. As for the prices in production areas, the price of Black Leaf and Orchid Bamboo lychees has recovered since the supply volume decreased.
Longan enter the market as lychees begin to leave. The Shixia longan and Chuliang longan from Maosheng and Zhanjiang in Guangdong are currently entering the market in large volumes. They have been on the market for a week and the price of these two longan varieties is stable.
