Kyrgyzstan to export cherries to China

According to an online news report from Kyrgyzstan on July 9, Kyrgyzstan‘s Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food and Soil Improvement, Zenebek Krimaliev, has announced at a press conference that 14 households in Kyrgyzstan have signed contracts to export cherries to China. He said that farmers in the Kadamzai district of Batken and the Arawan district of Osh state have already exported several batches of cherries to China. He stressed, "We also plan to expand the exports of apples, apricots, black plums, strawberries and marlins."
