French bananas energize Tour de France

La Banane de Guadeloupe & Martinique is the official supplier and sponsor of the team classification of the Tour de France. Lots of bananas have already been eaten during the race, which started this Saturday.

The French banana is grown on family farms in Guadeloupe and Martinique, by 600 independent producers who sell 270 000 tons of bananas every year.
