Russia: Seven storage units to be built in federal republic of Adygea

Seven refrigerated units storing fruits and vegetables will be built in Adygea in the next two years, the head of the republic's Agriculture Ministry, Yuri Petrov, said in an interview with TASS. According to preliminary estimates, investments will exceed 2.1 billion rubles (€28.4 mln).

"We are changing the structure of agriculture in the country, focusing on vegetable growing and horticulture, and this business is developing successfully. In the next two years, businessmen will build seven powerful refrigerated units for storing apples, berries and vegetables," said Petrov.

Fruitnews.ru explains how, by the end of 2018, new storage facilities will appear in the Maikop, Giagi and Teuchezhsky districts.
