Nichols Farms welcomes new chief sales and marketing officer

Nichols Farms, a grower of pistachios and almonds, announced the recent hire of marketing veteran Tristan Simpson as the new Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. The company has taken several steps in continuing to further their branding and innovation platform.

Nichols Farms are a third generation farming and processing operation. The company recently launched a new website and products, such as Nic’s Mix®, a blend of almonds and pistachio kernels. Simpson, who has built a 20+ year career specializing in fresh, natural and organic products, joins to lead the sales and marketing team efforts.

As the new Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Simpson is charged with leading the company’s initiatives in the development of strategic branding, sales and marketing as well as new product development. As a member of the Executive Management Team, she is also responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of the company, the development of executional plans for success and managing all internal and external communication.

Simpson was previously with Ready Pac Foods®, a producer of convenience fresh foods, where as SVP, Chief Marketing Officer she provided strategic leadership. She oversaw the marketing, research and development (R&D), corporate communications and creative functions. Additionally, she established digital and social media platforms, and led transformational strategy to integrate into consumer brand engagement. She was a key member of the “turnaround team,” leading to a successful transaction resulting in the company’s acquisition.
