China: 40 boxes of waxberries exported to the United Arab Emirates

On June 12th, 40 boxes of Xianju Dongkui waxberries were flying to the United Arab Emirates. This is the first time that Xianju waxberry have been exported to this country along the Belt and Road after previous exports to Canada, the Netherlands and Australia in 2017. The 40 boxes of Xianju waxberry weigh 300 kilograms. In order to extend the quality guarantee period, the staff will put the newly harvested berries in the fresh-preserved storehouse for 2 hours, and seal them in a vacuum machine with ice cubes. By adopting these technologies, waxberries can stay fresh for 5-10 days, while flying to the United Arab Emirates only takes about 36 hours.
