The price of bananas has fallen from 110 NTD per kilo last year to 6 NTD per kilo, which makes this year the most miserable year in the last 10 years. Huang Junhao, a banana grower in Zhuqi said that, normally, the lowest price of summer bananas appears in July to September. However, summer has just started and the price has already dropped . In particular this year, the production volume of summer bananas is lower than that of last year. A price collapse is expected.
