300 kg of bayberries were recently loaded onto flight KA615 via Hong Kong to the United Arab Emirates. Fujian is China's most important production area for bayberries destined for export. Fresh bayberries are not easy to transport, so exports of bayberries usually goes by plane. Xiamen Airport applied for permission to export a total of 78.8 tons of bayberries between May 1st and 31st. The main export destinations are Italy, Spain, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and Southeast Asian countries.
