Gramm Agropecuaria, awarded with an international quality seal

Gramm Agropecuaria has been a producer of blueberries, based in Concordia, Entre Rios, for 16 years.

Seventeen products in total were selected to carry the "Argentine Foods, a natural choice" seal of quality.

Fresh Concordian blueberries, two new honeys, a yerba mate, and dried pistachios are now part of the list of products that display the Quality Seal promoted by the Ministry of Agribusiness of the Nation.

The Ministry of Food and Bio economy of the Ministry of Agribusiness granted the non-exclusive rights of use of the Argentine Foods a Natural Choice seal of quality to Gramm Agropecuaria's fresh blueberries, the gluten-free honey from Gruas San Blas SA; the yerba mate from the Las Marías Settlement, and the dried pistachios from Frutos del Sol SA.

The fruit company, located in Concordia, is the first firm to obtain the right to use this Seal in fresh blueberries, after having complied with all the general and specific conditions required by Law No. 26,967.

"The quality requirements to certify the seal are very demanding. We are confident that it will be valued in national and international markets, as we also have the Global Gap, Global Grasp, TESCO, M & S, HACCP and C-TPAT certifications. We are also pioneers in the latter, just like with the seal," stated Gabriel Wasserman, the President of Gramm.

This recognition will allow the firms to get an additional 0.5% refund, as a decree establishes that organic products, or those that use the Argentine Foods a Natural Choice, have this right. Another additional benefit includes participating, free of charge, in an annual fair from the calendar of the Argentine Agency for Investment and International Trade (AAICI).

Argentine Foods is a registered trademark that can only be used by the processing companies that adapt their production to specific quality protocols that are audited in all the sections of the production chain. The presence of this seal on a product reinforces consumer confidence, as it demonstrates that it has a premium quality, and strengthens the productive identity that the country exhibits to the world.
