2018 Asian (Hainan) Fruit and Vegetable Exposition: June 28th - 30th

Hainan is a treasure trove for fruit lovers

Hainan is the southernmost province of China. The weather, the sunshine, the water quality - all of these are perfect for growing tropical fruit. The natural environment gives Hainan an advantage in fruit plantation. The temperature is stable and remains above 25 degrees Celsius all year. There are more than 400 wild and domesticated fruit varieties in Hainan. In general, the fruit there matures 3-5 months earlier than in the rest of China. The production season of Sanya in particular runs contrary to the production season in mainland China. Mango production in Sanya begins in November and finishes in May, while the mango production in Guangxi begins in April and finishes in October and the mango production in Sichuan begins in June and finishes in November.
