US: Mini-Super to replace Little Eater produce at North Market

This summer, the produce stand at the Columbus North Market is getting an overhaul. A new business operation called Mini-Super will take over the space, replacing Little Eater Produce and Provisions. Mini-Super will be opened and operated by Matthew Miner, a 20-year industry veteran with experience at Northwest Natural Foods and Whole Foods.

Columbusunderground.com quoted North Market Executive Director Rick Harrison Wolfe as saying: “The addition of Mini-Super will further enhance the North Market’s reputation of providing a launch pad for small businesses. North Market is excited about the opportunity to showcase what Mini-Super has to offer and I believe our customers will enjoy this ‘best-in-class’ latest addition to their favourite fresh produce shopping destination.”

Mini-Super’s offerings will include eggs and dairy products in addition to a variety of produce. A grand opening is slated for early June. Little Eater Produce and Provisions has closed as of today, as owner Cara Mangini has shifted focus to the growing restaurant business.
