2018 session of the China Fruit Retail Summit Meeting

Capital has flowed into the fruit industry in recent years. Initially wild, traders have now become more reasonable in fresh produce investment projects. In addition to capital investment, the foundation of the fruit industry has become a fusion of industrial supply chains. It has become a general trend to group together in production area, distribution, and retail.

The IFresh Fair announced that the second session of the "China Fruit Retail Summit Meeting' will commence with a festive opening on May 30th, 2018, in the Guangda International Hotel in Shanghai. The activities are divided in two groups: large-scale round-table conferences and exhibitions of seasonal spring and summer fruit products.

The theme of the China Fruit Retail Summit Meeting is "fusion-artisan farmers-institutional breakdown". The organizing committee invited more than 50 honored guests and 600 people from the industry to discuss together all the trends in the Chinese fruit industry in 2018. The summit meeting will install five main areas for government and business, production and marketing, retail, capital investment, and artisan farmers.

Guo Chenglin is in charge of the retail area. Participants include Fruit King, Beijing Miss Fresh, Shanghai Yiguo, and Hema Fresh. The participants will discuss further cooperation and mergers in marketing and retail areas, as well as the simultaneous advancement of online and offline retail. Apart from this, the seasonal spring and summer fruit exhibition will display large cherries, watermelons, blueberries, lychees, and durians. There will be more than 20 different varieties of seasonal fruits and even more fruit and vegetable technology products. Data shows that more than 1,400 people visited on the first day of the first session of the China Fruit Retail Summit Meeting in 2017.
