Sino-Israel cooperation begins a new chapter

Israel organizes twentieth session of International Agricultural Technology Exhibition

The twentieth session of the International Agricultural Technology Exhibition was organized in Tel Aviv, Israel, between May 8th and May 10th. This is one of the most important exhibitions for global leaders in the agricultural industry. Several dozen agricultural technology companies from Israel, Italy, Spain, Russia, Thailand, and other countries participated in the exhibition. Yunnan and Hainan also set up a booth and further dispatched a delegation of several hundred people to visit and inspect the exhibition.

The International Agricultural Industry exhibition in Israel is organized every three years. This year the scale was relatively large. The Tel Aviv Conference Center arranged three exhibition halls, and further exhibited agricultural machinery outside the halls. There was an endless stream of people in front of the booth of Soli, the famous Israeli Seed and Agricultural Projects Company. Visiting traders from Africa, India, and China came to see tomato seeds and express their interest.

Zhang Zhongqiu, a veteran guest of the exhibition and a leader in Chinese agriculture, stated that China and Israel complement each other in the field of agriculture, and both sides should strengthen their cooperation: "The compatibility between China and Israel in agriculture is strong. Efficient irrigation agriculture in Israel has similar requirements to agriculture in China's northwest. This includes the need for plant cultivation, plant disease and insect pest prevention, and other aspects where there is much potential for broad cooperation. We must strengthen the exchange of information, as well as cooperation between businesses. We must apply the advanced and practical Israeli technology in China's agricultural production. China is currently pushing for the modernization of agricultural industry, which includes the development of rural villages and requires the advancement of agricultural science and technology."
