"Auchan develops "no pesticide residue" range"

Auchan has announced that they are developing their “no pesticide residue” range with 17 new fruit and vegetable references, now offering 20 products (strawberries, peaches, nectarines, tomatoes, courgettes and aubergines). They have promised to be able to offer clients a complete organic range of fruit and vegetables by 2020. The "no pesticide residue" label guarantees the absence of residue from chemical phytosanitary products on or in the produce. Similar labels, including “zero phyto” and “zero residue” have also appeared over the last few months, although 15 associations have said these labels are misleading.
