Luxury market fruits such as lychees, longans, and three season plums have been a great success with consumers this year. The production volume has increased as a result of great harvests this year. Analysts expect early-season lychees to enter the market in production areas in small volumes around May 20th and the wholesale market around May 25th. Early-season lychees are expected to enter the market in large volumes around May 30th. The mid-season lychees are expected to enter the market in large volumes between June 3rd and 6th. The mid- to late-season lychees mature 10 days later and are expected to arrive on the wholesale market between June 7th and 17th. Longans are expected to arrive on the market in small volumes in the first week of July and on the wholesale market from mid-July onward.
