Albanian tomatoes getting international attention on social media

As we reported just a few weeks back on Freshplaza, Albanian agriculture has seen extreme growth in the in the last few years, especially when it comes to greenhouse production. It seems that the work of foreign investors and the government is paying off, as the country's tomatoes are receiving interest from far away destinations such as Togo, South America and Kuwait, as well as countries a little closer by, such as Greece and Bosnia.

Other products currently in season and in huge supply are cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant, garlic, white peppers and strawberries.
