New standup pouches accompany rebranding for packaging manufacturer

Stand up pouches have become ubiquitous in retail stores and now companies are looking to expand on that and offer various different types within the standup category. Flexible, fresh produce packaging manufacturer DuPak has introduced various size and shapes in stand up pouches and now offer what it calls 'premium rotogravure printing'.

"The advanced printing methods delivers a more saturated, higher-definition print result," said Duke Yu, owner of DuPak. "We offer complete customization & design for growers who are looking to offer a last minute silent sales presence at retail level."

CPMA opportunity to launch new products
DuPak attended the CPMA trade show in Vancouver last week. Along with highlighting the improved standup pouch printing, Yu said the show was an opportunity to meet with customers as well as fellow industry professionals. The company also launched a couple of new products at the show.

"Connecting with loyal customers and learning the latest trends in the fresh produce industry is always a highlight at CPMA," he said. "DuPak is also excited to announce the launch of a steamable pouch, as well as a microwavable pouch, which we unveiled at the show."

Rebranding and new website
It's been a busy year for DuPak after the company underwent a rebranding last October. According to Yu, the rebranding was very successful with the company desiring to stay fresh and enter new markets. A further step in the rebranding came last week, when DuPak launched its new website.

As for the new features on the website, Yu said, "The site features details on the brand’s evolution from its humble beginnings, the wide range of industries served, and allows customers to explore the plethora of superior printing and packaging options we have been offering for more than 15 years. DuPak is committed to constantly growing and learning new things to ensure its partners are receiving the latest packaging trends at the highest quality of work."

“While we are updating our branding and website, we remain the same company that has served this industry for the past 15 years,” Yu added. “We hope the new site serves as a hub for people looking to learn more about the latest trends in functional, durable and stylish packaging solutions.”
