Turkey: Permission to export tomatoes to Russia is granted

The Russian Federal Veterinary and Plants Health Supervision Service has lifted some restrictions regarding Turkısh exports of tomatoes to Russia which allowed 2 tomato growers in Salihli to start exporting again.

Food, Agriculture and Livestock Salihli County Manager Ali Demir: “The inspection of the facilities of 2 growers in our county, Lider Gida and Bostan Tarim has been carried out together by our ministry and by the officials from the Russia Federal Veterinary and Plant Quarantine Service successfully. As a result of this inspection, these two greenhouses are cleared to export tomatoes to Russia and the exports have immediately started after this clearance. We hope this will bring significant economic benefits to our county.”
