Cydiance's tools allow customers to track and record the whole process starting from transportation, sorting, and transfer to the distribution for both import and export customers.
It provides complete data and reduces possible logistic problems significantly. Recently, following the demands of the industry, Cydiance has decided to launch the Shipment Tracking and Collaboration Platform, which is independently designed and operated by the company. The platform is called Cydiance Book.
At present, the platform is in the final stage of testing. It is expected that the platform will be officially put into use on April 16. It will be available in three languages: English, Chinese, and Spanish.
Tracking and data analysis
During the tracking process, if an abnormal situation occurs, the alarm system will be automatically activated and the details will be sent to the customer via email or SMS.
The alarm includes the function of the electronic fence. Once the shipment enters the designated area set in advance, the system will automatically send a reminder. The customer can set up 3 areas. At this stage, the system supports 203 countries and 645 telecom operators, which can basically cover the whole world. There are two versions of equipment according to their working hours, 15 days and 60 days.
Collaboration and sharing
Permissions can be customized, including the management of information and alarm reminder settings. The contents of the collaboration may include information on the temperature, humidity and location, as well as the management of the import and export documents and photos. Everything possible is being done to reach the consistency and synchronization of multi-party logistics information management, to improve the efficiency of all parties' cooperation and avoid losses in logistics process.
