The conference also gave five purchase traders the opportunity to sign an agreement with Fanyu™ Fruit Tomato for future contracts worth an estimated 11.69 million yuan [1.86 million USD].

Fanyu™ Fruit Tomato officially announced public recruitment of urban partners. This recruitment will commence on April 1st. There are only 10 available positions, and preference will be given to partners in urban areas.

Why choose Fanyu™ Fruit Tomato?

Staggered delivery to cities keeps the product rare and valuable
Mr. Shi Xingren, the founder of Fanyu™ Fruit Tomato, explained that in general fruit tomatoes enter the market annually from March 15th onward. This year, however, the temperatures were low, so fruit tomatoes officially enter the market around 10 days late. They stay on the shelves until early May. Hainan Qianxi tomatoes generally enter the final stage of sales in the beginning of April. The time when Fanyu™ Fruit Tomato enters the market coincides with the time when Hainan Qianxi tomatoes leave the market. Fanyu™ Fruit Tomato fills a need and cleverly avoids the situation where supply exceeds demand.

Unique taste and appearance
Fanyu™ Fruit Tomato predominantly promoted red, yellow, and black fruit tomato varieties in 2018--red tomatoes have an actual sugar content of 8.8-9 brix and an average yield of 4500 kg per 0.06 hectares. This is an additional yield of 12.3% in comparison with Hainan Qianxi tomatoes. The yellow tomato variety was introduced from Japan as a cherry tomato variety. The average yellow tomato weighs 15 gram and has a sugar content of 8.5. The black tomato variety weighs 20 gram on average and is resistant to split skin. The overall quality is great and sells well. It is resistant to disease and has medicinal value in addition to its value as a snack food.

Fanyu™ Fruit Tomato will also introduce green and purple tomato varieties.

Standardized, mechanized production guarantees product quality
The quality of fruit tomatoes is closely related to such factors as plantation technology, plant density, and ventilation. According to Mr. Shi Xingren the tomato plants in general produce smaller tomatoes with lower sugar content.
Fanyu™ Fruit Tomato implemented strict standardized plantation with a regulation of 1400-1500 tomato seedlings per 0.06 hectare. This set-up guarantees a regular fruit size and similar sugar content between tomatoes.

iFreshFair organized a tour of the Fanyu™ Fruit Tomato plantation on March 24th

Fanyu™ Fruit Tomato plantations include standardized greenhouses, economic irrigation installations for manure of night-soil mixed with water, as well as green measurements to prevent and treat insect pests

Modernized cultivation and mass production of seedlings
