Tecnova authorised to conduct EOR tests

The General Directorate of Health of Agricultural Production has granted Tecnova an official accreditation allowing it to carry out EOR tests, which will make it possible to confirm that its phytosanitary products and new nutritional products, formulated with microorganisms, meet the necessary requirements for their use.

The Tecnova Technological Centre stands out for its flexibility and capacity to adapt to the needs of its customers, which is reflected in its 21 greenhouses of different types, representing the whole range of greenhouse structures, substrates and technology currently available in the sector. Also, works and adaptations are continuously carried out in these greenhouses to provide the client with the ideal facilities for the execution of their tests.

A request frequently made by the sector in recent years had been to carry out its tests in an official manner and thus obtain a validation certificate, allowing it to guarantee compliance with the standards required to register its products.

Tecnova became immersed in the accreditation process in order to be able to respond to this request and provide this added value in the carrying out of phytosanitary tests.

The uniqueness of Tecnova's EOR accreditation
There are some companies that have this accreditation and are devoted to conducting internal tests for their own purposes. Tecnova, however, has instead been accredited to help companies in the sector to carry out these tests, offering its facilities and specialised technical personnel.

In the words of Mari Carmen Galera, Director of the Centre: "Tecnova has grown in order to meet the demands of the agricultural sector. It first launched the experimental centre in 2012, conducting field trials at local level, and today we are already collaborating with companies in the Netherlands , Israel, Japan, Great Britain, Peru, China, France, Mexico, Germany, Albania, Croatia, Slovakia and Italy. The professionalism and the ability to adapt to solve the needs of companies is Tecnova's essence and its raison d'etre."
